SwimSwam is Watching

SwimSwam recently connected with Cheryl Goldman, an accomplished painter living in Ashland, OR, who was gracious enough to allow us to post her paintings. She has also agreed to let us use the images in some creative collage/multimedia projects and will be directing our efforts.

We are currently planning on wrapping some of the images around amorphous rendered surfaces created in Modo - a truly amazing piece of software that we will highlight in weeks to come.

The IPOD logos ARE pretty cool. My project for this week is to generate a few examples.

If you follow the steps provided by Jennifer Apple at PhotoshopSupport.com, the initial steps are pretty simple.

The trick is to tap into a photo with some action and a clear outline without too much detail. The pen tool is key!!

Here’s the first mistake.

It’s acutally Renate dancing. Ooops!
